I like these things,
filled with the sweeping
solitude of the evening sky.
I wonder what they teach me.
I like to listen,
to my own laughter,
the crimson flights of
my imagination and the vehicles
that zip past me.
Keep me by your side,
O lonely walk of mine,
for I learn from your silence,
to make sense of all that speaks.
The other day I hopped,
across a hedge,
and the bush exploded,
with a zillion butterflies.
